  David Martin (PSE), in writing. − A project on the scale of the Nordstream gas pipeline requires full and thorough examination of the environmental implications involved. Before the project can start, we must make sure that the project meets stringent environmental criteria. These views are reflected in my vote on Marcin Libicki's report on the environmental impact of the planned gas pipeline in the Baltic Sea to link up Russia and Germany.
