Text tabled : B7-0523/2011

Zuzana Roithová (PPE) , in writing. - (CS) This motion for a resolution of the European Parliament is very general, accusing Member States of daily human rights violations relating to sexual orientation and gender identity, without stating one example. Neither the UN report nor this resolution are binding documents, but despite this it is a pity that these declaratory texts contain so many errors and superficial judgments, as well as poorly cited documents, certain rights deliberately extracted from the body of human rights and no examples provided of their violation. For these reasons, I did not back the report. There is, moreover, no reason for such a resolution at this moment.
