Text tabled : A7-0212/2011

Oldřich Vlasák (ECR), in writing.(CS) The regulation on statistical returns in respect of the carriage of goods by road lays down the obligation of Member States to send data on the carriage of goods by road to Eurostat. I have no objections to this regulation, but I have some reservations concerning the delegation of powers to the European Commission for the adoption of implementing measures in the form of delegated acts. I also consider it important to consult on proposals at expert level when drawing up delegated acts, on the understanding that the Commission should ensure that the administrative burden on Member States and reporting units is not greatly increased.
