Annual tax report: how to free the EU potential for economic growth (A7-0154/2013 - Ildikó Gáll-Pelcz)

Claude Moraes (S&D), in writing. − This report makes it clear that taxation is a national competence; the goal of this report is to provide incentives for research and development that will in turn increase growth and job creation. The S&D were succesful in watering down ideas on an increased focus on consumer taxation (which would disproportionally affect the poor in society especially) and managed to redirect this debate towards increased capital taxation.
