  Claude Moraes (S&D), in writing. − This report calls on the Commission to be more proactive in the development of interoperable and non-discriminatory toll systems in Member States and simply recommends that the EU should favour distance-based tolling systems as they are fairer. This report will not affect the UK or increase costs on motorists with the UK introducing tolling, which remains the government’s decision, so I am happy to support it.
