  Nessa Childers (S&D), in writing. − The proposal aims to facilitate and liberalise the trade in motor vehicles by enabling manufacturers to conduct a universal set of type-approval standards with the knowledge that their products will in turn be approved and recognised by many countries in various continents as being in conformity with their national legislation.
