  Claudette Abela Baldacchino (S&D), in writing. − Statistics play a pivotal role in drawing up policies in the EU. It is important to monitor changes and challenges in the demographic situation throughout the Union, in order to ensure that quality policies can be adopted which address the people who most need them.
