  Chris Davies (ALDE), blue-card answer. – The CCS report that we put forward recommends carbon capture and storage as one of the technologies that need to be developed. That is one of the reasons why we need to have a long-term view, because it is only by taking the long-term view that Member States will progress in that direction. I recognise that this needs subsidies, of course it does, but they have got to be part of national plans to fit national circumstances. There has got to be flexibility as to how best to achieve our goals.
