Arrangement with the Principality of Liechtenstein on the modalities of its participation in the European Asylum Support Office (A7-0168/2014 - Roberta Metsola)

Roberta Metsola (PPE), in writing. - The European Asylum Support Office (EASO) has a crucial role to play in the EUʼs asylum policy and we must continue to work to strengthen its aims and help the Agency achieve its objectives. Article[nbsp ]49 of the EASO Regulation specifies that arrangements shall be made, specifying in particular the nature, extent and manner in which Liechtenstein, and other associated States are to participate in the Support Officeʼs work. The participation of these associate countries in the Support Officeʼs work will add an important dimension to EASOʼs role and as the rapporteur on this agreement, I am very proud to vote in favour.
