Macroeconomic situation in Greece, structural reforms and their impact, as well as prospects for future negotiations within the Programme (debate)

Richard Howitt (S&D), blue-card question. – Mr Kuźmiuk, you speak on behalf of your conservative group and argue in your group that social protection for workers is a bad thing and should be stripped away, and that that is going to help. But when we look at Greece, and even at what the IMF says, the sort of reductions of social protection that your group advocates leads to more firing and less hiring. Do you accept that today in Greece – which you profess to be concerned about – the maintenance of social protection for the rights of employees is important?
