Max Andersson (Verts/ALE ). – Mr President, I wish to raise a point about Rule 170 of the Rules of Procedure. We have an amendment supported by more than 100 MEPs from five different groups, Amendment 320, which proposes that former MEPs who have a transitional allowance should not be engaged in lobbying. It was declared inadmissible on the fifth version of the voting list last night. We have not received a formal explanation why this pretty good amendment was declared inadmissible, and this we find strange and unacceptable. If possible, we would like the vote on Amendment 320 to go forward.
