  Geoffrey Van Orden (ECR), blue-card answer. – We could open up a very long debate there, of course. A two-state solution, yes: a State of Israel living in security as a largely Jewish state, and a State of Palestine living without terrorism and recognising the State of Israel. That is the sort of way ahead I would see there. But if we want to be helpful, then the European Union should use the enormous financial leverage that it has to get the Palestinians back to the conference table instead of encouraging them in false dreams.
