Report on financial crimes, tax evasion and tax avoidance (debate)
MPphoto

Alfred Sant (S&D), blue-card answer. – All I need to do is repeat what I just read. Unfortunately, the report – which Madam Gomes will have read – takes on board at face value mere allegations and suspicions. Disparate elements of financial statecraft get associated in her mind, in her world view, with tenuous unsubstantiated links to incipient crime. This is not the way for a serious parliamentarian to move forward.
