Enforcement requirements and specific rules for posting drivers in the road transport sector (A8-0206/2018 - Merja Kyllönen) (vote)
MPphoto

Marian-Jean Marinescu (PPE). – Mr President, I come back to the request of our colleague from the very beginning. What we are voting now, we are not voting on content. We are voting periphery against other countries. Of course it’s the same result.

Let’s repeat the vote on content, on article, paragraph by paragraph, and article by article, because this is not the way that the European Parliament votes. To vote blocks – the only reason for these blocks is the group of MEPs that proposed the amendments. There are in one block amendments of Article 4, Article 9, Article 12, with no connection between them – nothing. We are speaking about driving time, about the age of the driver, about parking and so on, and there is no connection between the amendments.

This is not following any rule of Parliament. Sorry, but this is the situation. This is the mess created by the staff from Parliament.

(Applause)
