to the Commission
- Does the Commission know of the resolution formulated by the European Parliament on 13 December 2001 concerning an immediate moratorium until an international agreement has been negotiated on the regulation, restriction or banning of the use, production and transfer of cluster bombs?
- The EU supports projects and programmes dealing with humanitarian demining, aid for mine victims, and sensitisation campaigns for people affected by mines. These mine action programmes mostly comprise weapons-removal programmes. Does the Commission have any knowledge as to the effective use of its money concerning sensitisation campaigns, the removal of mines and aid for mine victims?
