2.  Verification of credentials

At the JURI Committee's proposal, Parliament decided to confirm the validity of the mandates of Claus Larsen-Jensen , Zbigniew Zaleski , Tadeusz Ross and Věra Flasarová , with effect from 13 December 2013 for Claus Larsen-Jensen , 17 December 2013 for Zbigniew Zaleski and Tadeusz Ross , and 13 January 2014 for Věra Flasarová .


3.  Approval of the minutes of the previous sitting

The minutes of the previous sitting were approved.

Sajjad Karim said he had wanted to vote for the second part of Amendment 116 to the report by Eduard Kukan (A7-0418/2013 ) during the vote on 11 December 2013.


4.  Request for the defence of parliamentary immunity

Lara Comi had requested defence of her immunity and privileges in connection with the legal proceedings pending before the Court of Ferrara.

Under Rule 6(3), the request had been referred to the committee responsible, the JURI Committee.


5.  Corrigendum (Rule 216)

The ECON Committee had submitted the following corrigendum to a text adopted by Parliament:

Corrigendum P7_TA(2010)0336(COR02) to Directive 2010/78/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 amending Directives 98/26/EC, 2002/87/EC, 2003/6/EC, 2003/41/EC, 2003/71/EC, 2004/39/EC, 2004/109/EC, 2005/60/EC, 2006/48/EC, 2006/49/EC, and 2009/65/EC in respect of the powers of the European Supervisory Authority (European Banking Authority), the European Supervisory Authority (European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority) and the European Supervisory Authority (European Securities and Markets Authority) (OJ L 331, 15.12.2010, p. 120)

(position of the European Parliament adopted at first reading on 22 September 2010 with a view to the adoption of the above directive P7_TA(2010)0336 ) (OJ C 50 E, 21.2.2010, p. 212) (COM(2009)0576 – C7-0251/2009 – 2009/0161(COD) ).

Pursuant to Rule 216(4), this corrigendum would be deemed approved unless, within 24 hours, a request was made by a political group or at least 40 Members that it be put to the vote.

The corrigendum would be available on the Séance en direct website during the current part-session.


6.  Delegated acts (Rule 87a)

Pursuant to Rule 87a(6), the Chair of the Conference of Committee Chairs had informed the President of Parliament that no objections had been raised in respect of:

- a recommendation for a decision by the TRAN Committee to raise no objections to the draft Commission regulation amending Commission Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011 laying down technical requirements and administrative procedures related to civil aviation aircrew (D029683/02 - 2014/2500(RPS) ) (B7-0071/2014 ) ;

- a recommendation for a decision by the REGI Committee to raise no objections to the Commission delegated regulation of 7 January 2014 on the European code of conduct on partnership in the framework of the European Structural and Investment Funds (C(2013)09651 - 2014/2508(DEA)) (B7-0086/2014 ) .

If no objections to these recommendations are raised by a political group or at least 40 Members within 24 hours, they shall be deemed to have been approved. If a political group or at least 40 Members raise objections to them, they shall be put to the vote.
