5.  Request for the defence of immunity

Stanislav Polčák had submitted a request for the defence of his privileges and immunities in response to administrative proceedings brought against him by the department of transport of the municipal council of Jihlava.

Under Rule 9(1), the request had been referred to the committee responsible, the JURI Committee


6.  Announcement by the President

The President recalled the penalty he had decided to impose on Udo Voigt on 15 December 2016 for his failure to comply with the reporting measures set out in the Code of Conduct and its Implementing Measures. On 27 December 2016 Udo Voigt had lodged an appeal against the decision. On Monday, 16 January 2017, the Bureau had examined Mr Voigt's appeal and unanimously upheld the decision. The penalty consisted in a reprimand.
