In accordance with Parliament's decisions on the use of gender-neutral language in its documents, the Rules of Procedure have been adapted to take account of the guidelines on that subject approved by the High Level Group on Gender Equality and Diversity on 13 February 2008 and endorsed by the Bureau on 19 May 2008.

The European Parliament's Rules of Procedure are published periodically in booklet form and in the Official Journal of the European Union . These editions may be obtained from the Publications Office of the European Union.

The European Parliament may, however, amend its Rules of Procedure from time to time. The version in force is available on the European Parliament's website (http://www.europarl.europa.eu).
