A number of my constituents have written to me regarding the latest attacks on the Ahmadi Muslim community in Indonesia in early February. The barbaric and brutal attack was carried out by Islamist extremists, killing and seriously injuring innocent Ahmadiyya members.

The persecution of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community is an ongoing issue.

1. Has the Commission raised this issue with the Pakistani authorities?

2. What action does the Commission intend to take to ensure the religious freedom of Ahmadi Muslims in Indonesia and around the globe?
