Question for written answer
to the Commission
Rule 117
William (The Earl of) Dartmouth (EFD)

Subject:  Fraud safeguards for macro-financial assistance to Ukraine
 Answer(s)

It has been reported in the press that the EU has promised EUR 1.6 billion in macro-financial assistance to Ukraine(1). Given the breakdown of the rule of law in Ukraine, and the potential for corruption and wastage, could the Commission detail how the transfer of funds will be safeguarded?
