Information about allowances payable to European Commissioners appointed on an interim basis

Following the election to the European Parliament of four Members of the current European Commission, and given that it is not permitted to serve simultaneously as a Member both of the European Parliament and of the Commission, four interim Commissioners have been appointed who will replace those elected to the European Parliament until the term of office of the current Commission expires in October 2014.

Can the Commission indicate whether, and to what extent, the interim Commissioners, although they are to remain in office for only a few months, will be able to draw the same allowances as are normally payable to outgoing Commissioners?
