In reference to Question E‐005704/2014, Commissioner Malmström gave the following answer on behalf of the Commission: ‘The question concerns the transposition by Spain of Directive 2011/36/EU on preventing and combating trafficking of human beings and protecting its victims. […] Spain has notified partial transposition of the directive […] full transposition measures would be soon notified’.
Spain is 18 months behind schedule for application of Directive 2011/36/EU. Is the Commission satisfied with the partial transposition that has been notified?
What measures has the Commission taken to ensure that Spain fully transposes this directive as soon as possible?
