Is the Slovak Act 152/1995 Coll. on Foodstuffs in conformity with EC law, not only as regards the principle of subsidiarity, but also in relation to the free circulation of goods and services? Suspicions have been raised that it is discriminatory against international companies and that its provisions jeopardise investment.

What measures will the Commission take in respect of this law, the provisions of which are not in conformity with Directive 98/34/EC?
