After the attacks in Paris, it emerged that the two men who massacred the staff of Charlie Hebdo magazine on 7 January were suspected of terrorism and had been placed on the US ‘no fly list’. However, no restrictions had been placed on their movements in Europe.

Does the Commission intend to create a European ‘no fly list’ to restrict the movements of suspected terrorists and to protect Community citizens?
