The European Union has made lifelong learning an integral part of its education policy. However, it appears that the Erasmus+ programme is almost entirely directed at adults pursuing vocational training, thereby excluding those who wish to further their education for personal rather than professional reasons.

Does the Commission intend to abolish all subsidies for non-vocational continuing education?
