The European Commission and Venezuela drew up a strategy for 2007-2013 with a view to creating lines of cooperation and reinforcing their political, economic, social and cultural relations.

For the 2014-2020 period it has been decided to make changes in the EU’s development cooperation policy, which will affect Venezuela as well.
