The issue of choosing a veterinary doctor in Romania

At present, in Romania, animal breeders must choose veterinary doctors imposed by the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority, although they would like to be able to register their animals in a veterinary circumscription of their choosing.

Animal breeders do not consider that it is an appropriate measure for veterinary doctors to be imposed through the strategic programme for the surveillance and control of animal diseases, on the producers' money.

What measures does the Commission consider could be applied so that animal breeders are able to choose the veterinarian and the veterinary circumscription that they want?
