Intensive energy use — Follow-up

Question for written answer E-004439-15
to the Commission
Rule 130
Ramon Tremosa i Balcells (ALDE)

In response to my Written Question E-009460/2014 the Commission says that it can encourage efforts to provide more dynamic tariff and pricing options for consumers.

As the Commission recognises only too well, flexible contracts are a key characteristic of a competitive and functioning market.

Bearing that in mind, can the Commission say if it will encourage Spain to provide flexible contracts?

When will it do so?

If it does not do so, can the Commission explain the reason why it will not encourage Spain to provide flexible contracts?
