In regard to the payment of EUR 143.4 million that the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Commission is requesting from the Portuguese Government concerning irregular payments to farmers, we would like to ask the Commission to provide us with detailed information on the reasons and procedures for the collection of this debt. In particular, we would like to be provided with information about the payment schedule, the years to which the funds relate, the programmes/actions, and other information considered relevant.
