For three months up to now, Israel had held back around EUR 120 million that legitimately belonged to the Palestine National Authority, thereby endangering even the administrative continuity of the Palestinian State, given that its annual budget is very limited and used to cover basic payments and services.

According to her statement dated 27 March 2015, the High Representative welcomed the prospect of Israel taking this decision, commenting that the EU had been making efforts for this step. What were these efforts?

In accordance with this and other measures taken by Israel against the occupied territories, is the High Representative planning to propose that the Council impose sanctions against that state, using the Association Agreement as a tool?
