All companies operating on the European market must comply with European rules and regulations, whether the companies themselves are European or not. In the opinion of the Commission, is the powerful Russian gas supplier, Gazprom, not abusing its dominant position in several European countries?

Are the market restrictions created by the company, such as the contractual ban on States re-exporting the gas to another Member State, with enormous surcharges being imposed in the event of non-compliance, lawful?

What sanctions does the Commission recommend?
