According to various NGOs, whale meat and other whale products are being transported through European ports en route to countries such as Japan. In particular, ships carrying whale products are being allowed to pass through ports such as Rotterdam in exchange for a fee.

What action, if any, does the Commission intend to take against whale products transiting European ports?
