On Sunday 19 April, on the occasion of François Hollande's arrival on the set of ‘Le Supplement’ of the Canal+ channel, several reports were broadcast, one of which was entitled ‘A week with the President’.
We witness in particular the beginning of a meeting of the President of the French Republic with nine of his advisers, a meeting held in the morning of 13 April.
Thus, the viewers could distinctly hear the sentence uttered by one of Mr Hollande's advisers: ‘the idea that has not been sufficiently considered, collectively, at present, is that that the Ukrainians also are not keeping the ceasefire’. In fact, it is a reality that is slow to be recognised.
In a statement of 12 April, the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) announced that the Ukrainian army had advanced a kilometre on the territory controlled by the rebels, after restarting fighting on the evening of 11 April: ‘from the territory under government control, about 500 m from the mission's place of deployment, gunfire targeted Shirokino and its surroundings’.
What does the Council plan to do to force Kiev to keep the Minsk agreements?
