The situation on the European Union’s outer edges has changed dramatically recently. Member States’ citizens no longer feel as safe as they did perhaps 10 years ago. It is abundantly clear today that the CSDP is not being deployed efficiently, with coordination being poor and resources unsatisfactorily allocated.

Is the European Commission planning to reform the common security and defence policy in the near future?

Does the European Commission have any plans to increase funding for this EU policy?
