The Single Permit Directive (Directive 2011/98/EU)

Question for written answer E-010952-15
to the Commission
Rule 130
Ramon Tremosa i Balcells (ALDE)

On 28 April 2015, the Commission showed its concern over the fact that Belgium, Spain and Slovenia were not complying fully with the Single Permit Directive (Directive 2011/98/EU), which should have been fully transposed in December 2013. These three countries still have not notified the Commission of the transposition of the directive.

The Commission sent a reasoned opinion to these three Member States to ensure compliance with European legislation.

1. Now that the two-month deadline has passed, have these three countries replied to the Commission?2. If so, is the Commission satisfied with the reply?3. If so, can the Commission please indicate whether it is planning to close the infringement proceedings or whether they shall continue?
