On 2 July, the United Nations added Yemen to the list of highest-level humanitarian emergencies.

Now, over 100 days since the conflict broke out within its borders, Yemen is indeed facing a major disaster, with almost 21 million people, 80% of the entire population, in need of humanitarian assistance.

What form of EU mediation and assistance to the Yemeni people are being envisaged in response to this conflict?
