From 1 September 2015, a group of eight EU officials will work on ways of countering what the Commission views as a massive propaganda campaign by the Russian Government. What is the precise make-up of the working group?

According to a number of news reports (for example that published on EurActiv.fr on 28 August 2015), the working group has not been allocated a budget. Some resources, however, for example from the European Endowment for Democracy, have already been used for similar purposes. What is the amount involved?

Will the working group function on a temporary or permanent basis?
