How much money has been paid from the EU Framework Programme for Research and Development and the European Regional Development Fund to British and European independent television companies over the last five years, and for what purposes?

The EU Framework Programme for Research and Development and the European Regional Development Fund have paid funds to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). For what purposes were these funds paid? What undertakings did the BBC make to secure such funding, and what liabilities and responsibilities does the BBC have towards the EU in light of this EU funding?
