In the wake of the appalling terrorist attacks in Paris on 13 November, the European Union has a responsibility to address the threat of terrorism with unity and forcefulness.

FIU.NET would be a valuable tool in this respect. This decentralised computer network supports Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs) in the European Union in their fight against money laundering and terrorist financing.

Could the Commission say when this useful, much needed network will be incorporated into Europol?
