In light of the increasing terrorist threat, and given the need to ensure that greater emphasis is placed on combatting illegal weapons and their transit, what expert consultation has the Commission undertaken, in particular with the arms industry and police agencies, in relation to the relevance of proposed changes to the Firearms Directive, which deals with legal weapons.
