The latest report by Public Health England in the UK shows that the number of premature deaths from particulate pollution is rising. The percentage of premature deaths from PM2.5 in England rose from 5.1% in 2012 to 5.3% in 2013. UK Government figures suggest that 29 000 people die prematurely from air pollution across the UK each year.
With reference to the above points:
