to the Commission

There have been mutual accusations, amid assertions of the falsification of facts and half-truths, between the Commission and Greenpeace, which obtained and then leaked concurrently to a number of European dailies confidential documents on the negotiations concerning TTIP. The leaked consolidated documents make no mention of the EU's precautionary principle, which ensures a high level of protection for consumers and the environment. According to another accusation, the EU and the USA are giving corporate lobbyists a much bigger say than other players in the decision-making process.
In spite of the many problems, does the Commission still aim to complete the negotiations during Obama's presidency, i.e. by the end of the year? Would it subordinate this objective to quality?
Will the Commission either confirm or refute the accusation that corporate lobbyists were given an enhanced role during the decision-making process?
