Mr Commissioner,

When will the Commission present its position on the possibility of adopting the memorandum of understanding, signed by Italy on 21 March 2014 at EU level, on the protection of the children of imprisoned parents?

What is the Commission’s opinion on the need to clarify the concept of ‘important events’ for raising a child (with a view to eliminating potential abuses of the law)?
