Drug trafficking is a scourge of our time. It is run by transnational organised crime networks that are particularly powerful. The effort to eradicate these networks must be full-scale, and cooperation at European level is particularly important in this.

Can the Commission report on the state of play of EU action to tackle drug trafficking and present its main successes and failures?
