In addition to the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA), the EU’s immediate neighbours, including countries such as Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco, also benefit from other EU aid programmes such as the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI)[1].

1. What are, in numerical terms, the largest EU aid programmes from which these three countries (Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia) benefit? 2. What was the total amount of aid received by these countries from the EU in 2016?
