British officials in the European institutions

Question for written answer E-004692-17
to the Commission
Rule 130
Charles Tannock (ECR)

At the beginning of 2017, a statistical bulletin produced by the Commission found that of the 29 881 officials, contract agents and temporary agents working in the European institutions, 3.4% or 1 021 are British as their first nationality.

Could the Commission clarify the exact number of permanent British EU officials who have single nationality, broken down by institution, and also how many British officials have dual nationality and are therefore also citizens of another EU Member State?

Could the Commission also establish the exact number of British officials with single nationality who hold the management posts of Head of Unit/Division, Director, Deputy Director-General and Director-General?
