Rule 130
Bas Eickhout (Verts/ALE)
Can the Commission clarify whether, in determining the European position regarding the establishment of an international CO2 standard for aircraft at the UN’s International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), all relevant stakeholders were treated in an equal manner? In particular, can the Commission confirm whether, in advance of the February 2016 meeting of the ICAO Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection (CAEP) all stakeholders, industrial and environmental, were granted equal access to drafts of the European position prior to their submission to ICAO CAEP?
Can the Commission confirm whether it intends to make public all working papers and information papers submitted to meetings of ICAO’s CAEP and ICAO’s CAEP Steering Group (SG), including the following: CAEP SG (June 2018), CAEP SG (September 2017), and CAEP SG (December 2016)?
