Programming of the allocation for the Regional Indicative Programmes (RIPs) under the 10th EDF and funding of EPAs

The Commission is due to finalise the programming of the allocation for the Regional Indicative Programmes (RIPs) under the 10th EDF in autumn 2008.

In its reply to Written Question P‑3789/08, the Commission states that 75 % of this allocation, amounting to EUR 1.3 billion, is to be set aside for supporting regional economic integration, including the implementation of the Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs).

Can the Commission now state the precise amount of the funds from the RIP allocation which will be earmarked specifically for the EPAs?

Can the Commission state whether funds from the intra-ACP allocation will also be earmarked for the EPAs, and if so what amounts?
