Every year the Commission adopts its Enlargement Package, explaining its policy on EU enlargement and reporting on progress achieved over the last twelve months by each candidate country and potential candidate.

This year the Commission decided to delay the publication of this package, with clear political implications and setting a dangerous precedent.

What was the reason for the postponement?

Was Parliament consulted in relation to this decision?
