Financing of measures to tackle the farming crisis

At the Agriculture and Fisheries Council meeting of 14 March 2016 the Commission proposed a number of measures to help European farmers hit by the crisis.

What budget funding will the Commission use to finance these measures, in particular to support the implementation of voluntary volume management by producer and interbranch organisations, as provided for in Article 222 of the CMO Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013)? How much leeway does it currently have as regards implementation of the budget? Given the urgency of the situation, when does it intend to release the necessary funds?
